Linux Systems Software Developer– Security Solutions

You will be joining one of our advanced product teams. You will be responsible for maintaining a Linux image used by virtual machine guests, keeping its open-source components up to date, as well as proactively monitoring for, and quickly responding to, security vulnerabilities that impact these components.
Responsibilities For The Linux Systems Software Developer
- Developing and maintaining core components of an enterprise class product.
- Improving security, reliability, and performance of the product.
- Responding quickly to security vulnerability reports for open-source components in the product, and rapidly integrating security fixes.
- Keeping open-source components in the product up to date, identifying and solving any problems that new versions may present.
- Writing unit tests and automated tests.
- Working in a fast-paced environment that iterates and evolves rapidly.
- Expert programming experience in C or C++.
- Experience of Linux systems development using Yocto Project.
- Experience with Linux user and kernel mode development.
- Experience of debugging complex systems problems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent.
- Understanding of components in the OSI networking model with emphasis on TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience with black box debugging.
- Experience with Windows system (user and/or kernel mode) development.
