We’re partnered with a global quantitative trading firm building the critical platforms that power high-frequency trading across international financial markets.

As part of a high-impact engineering team, you'll develop the systems that sit beneath the trading platform — supporting real-time risk controls, reference data, trade lifecycle infrastructure, and trading integrity. This is a hands-on C++ role offering end-to-end ownership, technical influence, and the opportunity to work on highly scalable, low-latency systems that directly support live trading.

You'll collaborate with engineers, traders, and infrastructure teams across the business while solving challenging engineering problems where performance, reliability, and resilience are critical.


What You’ll Work On

  • Designing and developing high-performance C++ trading platform infrastructure
  • Building low-latency, real-time, and high-throughput distributed services
  • Developing platforms supporting trade lifecycle, reference data, and risk systems
  • Owning projects from architecture and implementation through to production support
  • Driving platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence
  • Improving deployment processes and engineering automation
  • Collaborating with trading, infrastructure, and software engineering teams across the business
  • Performing code reviews, testing, and continuous platform improvements
  • Mentoring engineers and contributing to technical best practices


Required Skills

  • 3+ years experience building and operating production software systems
  • Strong C++ development experience in Linux/Unix environments
  • Excellent computer science fundamentals including algorithms, operating systems, networking, and data structures
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Python or another scripting language
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience delivering complex technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience building low-latency, high-throughput, or real-time systems
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, observability, and CI/CD pipelines
