About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Software R&D team, working on innovative platforms like ECS/ProcessExpert® and QCX/BlendExpert. You’ll collaborate with teams and customers to design solutions, develop and enhance software, troubleshoot issues, and support global deployments, all while optimizing industrial processes for efficiency, stability, and sustainability.

Your Responsibilities
During ideation and research:
- Collaborate and engage with internal teams & external customers to understand their needs, requirements, and desired business outcomes.
- Analyze requirements and document technical specifications for features or system design.
- Identify and understand bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Develop and improve the variety of products of our portfolio, such as ECS/ProcessExpert® and QCX/BlendExpert.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and debug issues in our existing software applications
- Provide support for colleagues and customers including troubleshooting of installed base
- You may be required to visit industrial factories worldwide to deploy, test, and validate the newly developed solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for product development.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the development and maintenance of communication drivers using industrial communication protocols.
- Design, development, and maintenance of complex software systems.
- Experience in developing and maintaining TCP/IP-based communication drivers to interface with PLCs, similar devices, or other applications using industrial communication protocols.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Expertise in .NET Framework and C#.
- Experience working with a rich C++/C# code base for drivers supporting various industrial protocols and interfacing with programmable logic controllers (e.g., Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, OPC DA).
- Experience handling and maintaining C++ applications is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
- Process dump analysis (memory leaks, deadlocks, etc.) using WinDbg or similar tools.
- Network packet analysis using Wireshark or similar tools.
- Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocol specifications and implementation (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, OPC).
- Basic knowledge of industrial networking.
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in international teams.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and contribute to a collaborative, innovative culture.
