This is a unique opportunity to solve difficult optimisation problems at the intersection of AI software and modern hardware.

The Role

• Develop Optimisation Passes: Design and implement compiler transformations that improve execution efficiency and overall performance.
• Advance Compiler Infrastructure: Improve intermediate representations and optimisation pipelines to support increasingly complex AI workloads.
• Performance Engineering: Analyse compiler output to identify optimisation opportunities across compute, memory and execution.
• Collaborate Across the Stack: Work closely with compiler, runtime and systems engineers to build a highly efficient end-to-end compilation pipeline.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 3+ years working on compiler technologies
• 4+ years commercial C/C++ experience (C++14 or newer)
• Strong understanding of compiler optimisation techniques and intermediate representations
• Experience with optimisation passes, graph transformations or program analysis
• Familiarity with LLVM, MLIR or similar compiler infrastructure
