The Role
- Build Compiler Backends: Design and develop core code generation capabilities that translate high-level workloads into highly optimised machine code.
- Drive Performance: Apply advanced optimisation, parallelisation and kernel generation techniques to maximise hardware efficiency.
- Shape Compiler Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of the compiler architecture as AI models and hardware continue to advance.
- Analyse & Optimise: Use profiling and performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and deliver measurable improvements across the compilation pipeline.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- 3+ years working on compiler technologies
- 4+ years commercial C/C++ experience
- Strong understanding of compiler algorithms and low-level code generation
- Experience optimising software for modern CPU, GPU or AI accelerator architectures
- Familiarity with LLVM or similar compiler frameworks
