The Role

• Build Compiler Backends: Design and develop core code generation capabilities that translate high-level workloads into highly optimised machine code.
• Drive Performance: Apply advanced optimisation, parallelisation and kernel generation techniques to maximise hardware efficiency.
• Shape Compiler Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of the compiler architecture as AI models and hardware continue to advance.
• Analyse & Optimise: Use profiling and performance analysis to identify bottlenecks and deliver measurable improvements across the compilation pipeline.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
• 3+ years working on compiler technologies
• 4+ years commercial C/C++ experience
• Strong understanding of compiler algorithms and low-level code generation
• Experience optimising software for modern CPU, GPU or AI accelerator architectures
• Familiarity with LLVM or similar compiler frameworks
