As part of a growing engineering team, you'll work on sophisticated, large-scale systems that combine software, infrastructure and operational technology. From defining requirements and system architecture through to integration, verification and deployment, you'll help deliver solutions that are used every day in mission-critical environments around the world.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across the full systems engineering lifecycle, partnering with software engineers, product specialists and infrastructure teams to develop and support next-generation autonomous mining systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and integrating complex fleet management and autonomous systems.
• Translating business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Supporting systems architecture, integration, verification and validation activities.
• Collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams to modernise existing platforms.
• Developing and maintaining enterprise software applications and backend services.
• Driving continuous improvement and technical innovation.
• Supporting major deployments within Australia and internationally.

What You'll Bring

You'll be someone who enjoys looking at the bigger picture while still understanding the technical detail.

You'll likely have experience in:

• Systems Engineering within software-intensive or complex technology environments.
• C++ and/or C# development.
• Systems integration and enterprise architecture.
• Requirements management and system lifecycle activities.
• CI/CD, Azure DevOps and Agile delivery practices.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Experience in mining, autonomous systems, industrial automation, AWS, Docker or Kubernetes will be highly regarded but isn't essential.
