C++ Developer – London - 150k+

RJC is working a C++ Developer role for a global energy trading company based in London. Working as part of the Quant Strategy Team, they are looking for a developer to help set up the main quant and risk platforms within the business.

The role requires technically excellent developers with experience implementing high-performance algorithms across internal infrastructure in and experience communicating ideas and solutions to commercially minded traders and analyst.

The ideal C++ Developer will have:

• Minimum 5+ years C++ development experience
• Substantial commercial experience implementing or working with a Risk & PnL engine
• Experience working within a trading environment (energy or commodities preferred) and functional understanding of trade flows
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with traders and demanding front office users
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
