Role Summary:

As the Country Manager ANZ, you will lead Cardo’s commercial efforts in the region. Your mission will be to drive both online and offline sales, build and execute regional sales strategies, manage local distribution networks, and ensure strong field presence. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing to ensure alignment on brand messaging, campaigns, and market engagement while representing Cardo’s premium brand in one of its key strategic markets.

  • Full-time remote position with travel of approx. 50%
  • Reports to: Sales Director, APAC
  • Location: Australia (Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the ANZ market.
  • Lead, manage, and expand relationships with distributors, resellers, and key retail partners.
  • Drive revenue across all sales channels – both online (e-commerce, marketplaces) and offline (dealers, retail).
  • Hire and mentor local team members
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities; provide actionable insights to headquarters.
  • Ensure effective field presence through dealer visits, POS engagement, and events.
  • Collaborate with the APAC Marketing Manager to align on campaigns, product launches, and local activations.
  • Support and leverage the ANZ Brand Manager to build brand awareness and credibility.
  • Forecast sales, track KPIs, and report regularly to the APAC Director.
  • Coordinate closely with headquarters on pricing, inventory planning, and promotional strategies.
  • Represent Cardo Systems at local and regional trade shows and events.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of sales and distribution management experience, preferably in consumer electronics, powersports, outdoor gear, or automotive sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-channel sales across ANZ.
  • Experience working with marketing teams to support sell-out.
  • Strong proficiency in the regional retail and e-commerce landscape.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience working with multinational organizations
