Projects

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the core financial infrastructure that powers global workforce payments. You will take end-to-end ownership of backend services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security for transactional systems operating across multiple countries. Working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will solve complex technical challenges related to distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput data processing. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, while mentoring other engineers on best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend features, from architectural design and implementation to testing and production monitoring.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a distributed global team to solve complex technical and product challenges.
