What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the forefront of Physical AI progress in both simulated and real humanoid robots by building the humanoid reference platform that features NVIDIA's robotics technologies.
- Work together with various groups to seamlessly incorporate NVIDIA robotics products like Jetson Thor, Isaac Sim/Lab, Isaac ROS into all-encompassing solutions for humanoid robots.
- Work on making things function seamlessly on real robots in our Zurich lab, focusing on training and deploying whole-body controllers, manipulation policies (VLA/WAM) and embedded agents (CaP).
- 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, with proven experience in the industry.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages and experience applying them to real-time robotics systems.
- Hands-on experience with both simulated and physical robots.
- In-depth knowledge of tools and libraries for robotics and learning, including PyTorch, ROS2, and physics simulators like Isaac Sim or Newton.
- Experience with learning-based robotics such as sim-to-real RL training, VLA fine-tuning, or embedded/code-as-policy agents.
- Proven experience using NVIDIA robotics tools (Isaac Sim/Lab, Isaac ROS, Isaac GR00T) and hardware (Jetson platform).
- Practical experience handling humanoid robots in a commercial or academic setting.
- Extensive hands-on experience with robotic systems that demonstrate your ability to effectively apply complex solutions.
