appropriately;
- Administers oxygen, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medication;
- Prepares patients for surgical and or diagnostic procedures;
- Prepares, operates, and monitors specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors,
- Inventory medicine and drug stocks to ensure adequate supplies and controls;
- Provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur in

- Required to use all Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook,
- Reviews and routes incoming correspondence;
- Schedules and tracks consultations for specialty care;
- Maintains referral log and notifies patients of appointments;
- Reviews and verifies patient eligibility for care in accordance with the Defense
guidelines;
- The CMA/MA performance will be monitored through a joint function of the
process and the contractual demand for services. CMA/MA productivity is
expected to be comparable to that of other medical department staff assigned to
the same facility, authorized the same scope of duties.
