I’m partnering with a growing commercial real estate owner/operator known for its portfolio of grocery-anchored and open-air retail shopping centers. Your new role
As a Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail shopping centers, ensuring the assets are maintained to the highest standards while maximizing property performance and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operations for multiple retail shopping centers
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure first-class property conditions
- Develop, manage, and reforecast annual operating budgets
- Maximize NOI through cost control and revenue enhancement strategies
- Oversee rent collections and tenant account management
- Prepare CAM reconciliations and resolve CAM disputes
- Negotiate tenant lease renewals
- Analyze lease provisions and ensure compliance by both landlord and tenant
- Develop and manage capital expenditure plans, tenant improvement projects, and property upgrades
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure contract compliance
- Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and local municipalities
- Ensure risk management practices and code compliance standards are met
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years of commercial property management experience
- Experience managing retail portfolios, preferably grocery-anchored and open-air shopping centers
- Strong understanding of property operations, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience working with vendors and maintaining tenant relationships
- Lease administration and lease analysis experience
- Yardi Breeze Premier experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work independently
