Your new role

As a Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail shopping centers, ensuring the assets are maintained to the highest standards while maximizing property performance and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage operations for multiple retail shopping centers
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure first-class property conditions
• Develop, manage, and reforecast annual operating budgets
• Maximize NOI through cost control and revenue enhancement strategies
• Oversee rent collections and tenant account management
• Prepare CAM reconciliations and resolve CAM disputes
• Negotiate tenant lease renewals
• Analyze lease provisions and ensure compliance by both landlord and tenant
• Develop and manage capital expenditure plans, tenant improvement projects, and property upgrades
• Manage third-party vendors and ensure contract compliance
• Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and local municipalities
• Ensure risk management practices and code compliance standards are met

What you'll need to succeed

• 2+ years of commercial property management experience
• Experience managing retail portfolios, preferably grocery-anchored and open-air shopping centers
• Strong understanding of property operations, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience working with vendors and maintaining tenant relationships
• Lease administration and lease analysis experience
• Yardi Breeze Premier experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work independently
