Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Trade Marketing Manager to lead our point-of-sale strategies, channel development, and shopper marketing initiatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for translating brand strategies into actionable channel plans, optimizing product visibility, and driving sell-out performance across our retail and distribution networks in Mexico and LATAM.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Strategy & Execution: Design and execute effective Trade Marketing plans across key sales channels (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade)
- Promotions & Campaigns: Develop and execute promotional calendars, point-of-sale materials (POSM), and shopper activation campaigns that boost brand visibility and ROI.
- Category & Shopper Insights: Analyze shopper behavior, channel trends, and market data to identify growth opportunities and optimize product placement.
- Sales & Marketing Alignment: Work closely with the Sales teams to ensure commercial alignment and seamless execution.
- Budget Management: Manage the Trade Marketing budget, tracking spending and ROI for all trade activations and promotional activities.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Oversee relationships with field agencies, designers, and POSM suppliers to ensure high-quality execution at the store level.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in Trade Marketing, Channel Management, or Commercial Marketing.
- Languages: Advanced English (written and spoken) and Native Spanish.
- Skills:
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and sales data analysis (Nielsen, Kantar, or internal CRM/ERP data, Power BI).
Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Deep understanding of the Mexican retail landscape and shopper dynamics.
- Soft Skills: Strategic mindset, negotiation ability, proactive attitude, and creative problem-solving.
