About Us
Driven by a deep belief that every student deserves a great education, we're a purpose-led SaaS company that empowers schools with the tools to improve teaching and learning and enhance student wellbeing. Our platform turns data into real progress, supporting teachers to grow, helping leaders to lead, and giving students stronger agency in their education and wellbeing. As our Marketing Manager, your work will directly shape how school leaders across Australia discover Pivot. Every campaign you run and every piece of content you publish helps drive meaningful change where it matters most: in schools and communities.
The Opportunity
This is a marketing role with real ownership. You'll run Pivot's entire marketing engine: taking our education thinking and publishing it across the channels where school leaders actually spend their time, running events both virtual and in-person, managing our nurture programs.
You won't be a cog in a large marketing team. You'll be the marketing team, working closely with our in-house education and product experts who supply the substance, while you supply the craft, the cadence and the channels. You'll execute a defined marketing strategy, reporting to our Head of Growth, with the freedom to experiment with messaging and channels to find what works.
Education is a trust-based sector where relationships are built over time. You'll be the person who builds that trust at scale.
Success in this role is measured by the volume and quality of leads you hand to our acquisition team, and the growth of Pivot's share of voice as a trusted education expert in Australian schools.
What You'll Do
- Produce, schedule and publish education content across our marketing channels, repurposing thought leadership from our education and product experts into multiple formats
- Work closely with Head of Growth to align activity with revenue targets - identifying risk and opportunities
- Own the marketing calendar and run coordinated campaigns sequenced to the Australian school year
- Manage nurture and EDM programs that build credibility with school leaders over time
- Run virtual and in-person events end to end: promotion, logistics and structured follow-up
- Experiment with channels and messaging, keep an honest test log, and double down on what works
- Identify and develop case studies from existing customers and maintain the case-study roadmap. Repurpose case study content - thought leadership, blogs, videos, webinars, events
- Own the marketing side of our CRM: lead capture, scoring, nurture workflows and clean handover to sales, maintaining CRM lead hygiene
- Manage SEO, SEM and our public website
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- have solid B2B marketing experience and know the Australian K-12 education sector, its buyers and its rhythms
- can speak the language of principals and school leaders with credibility
- work confidently as a one-person marketing function, independently and without a big team behind you
- are comfortable operating in an ambiguous, flexible environment
- turn one strong piece of thinking into many channel-native assets without losing rigour
- are hands-on with marketing automation and CRM
- have run events that produce leads, not just attendance
- use AI tools to scale your output while keeping a human quality check on everything
- are data-savvy and motivated by targets
- believe in growth, for yourself, for Pivot and for the educators we serve
