We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one of our restaurants and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys leading high-performing teams, and thrives in a fast-paced, premium dining environment. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, driving business performance, and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth, efficient service and an outstanding guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the FOH team, creating a positive and high-performing work environment.
• Supervise Assistant Managers and FOH employees, ensuring company standards and service procedures are consistently followed.
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared before each service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational readiness throughout the day.
• Monitor floor operations, table allocations, and service flow to maximize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with guests, handle feedback professionally, and resolve any complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Work closely with the Reservations, BOH, and support teams to optimize bookings, coordinate service, and ensure seamless daily operations.
• Drive commercial performance by maximizing covers, encouraging upselling opportunities, and monitoring key business performance indicators.
• Manage labor costs through effective scheduling and workforce planning based on business demands.
• Monitor operational expenses, inventory levels, stock ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and protect company assets.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management to build a skilled and engaged team.
• Conduct regular team briefings and training sessions to maintain high standards of food knowledge, service, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, hygiene standards, health & safety requirements, and cash handling procedures.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor business performance, and implement improvements to continuously enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation of new initiatives, promotions, and operational projects while collaborating closely with senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management within a high-volume or premium dining environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent guest service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, and hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and labor planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
