VP of Marketing

Howspace is a SaaS company in the L&D space, helping organizations run large-scale, meaningful learning and enablement initiatives that actually engage people and lead to impact. We are at an early scale-up stage, close to 10m € ARR mark. We target mid-market corporations and are growing internationally. Our product has proven value in complex customer environments, and we are now at a point where a high-performing marketing engine is essential for our next phase of growth.

We are looking for a strategic and growth-oriented VP of Marketing to build and scale our marketing engine. In this role, you will own inbound and outbound demand generation, brand, product marketing, and communications - ensuring marketing directly contributes to pipeline and revenue. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in defining our go-to-market strategy and sharpening our positioning to ensure Howspace remains a differentiated market leader.

What will this role have ownership of?

• Own the overall marketing strategy and annual growth plan aligned with the company targets and strategy
• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team focusing on demand generation, digital, brand, product marketing, and content/communications
• Scale an inbound engine and targeted outbound programs
• Continuously refine the ICP, brand positioning, and company narrative
• Manage product marketing, launches, and contribute to sales enablement
• Execute integrated campaigns across global regions and channels
• Partner with Sales and RevOps to align on pipeline and funnel targets
• Manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI and CAC
• Oversee brand presence, PR, and industry analyst relations
• Develop customer marketing and advocacy programs for growth
• Optimize the marketing tech stack and report on key KPIs
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in marketing activities
• Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within the marketing team

What does the role require from you?

• Proven track record in building demand generation functions that deliver a qualified pipeline for a B2B Saas sales motion
• Pragmatic and creative approach that balances hands-on execution with experimental, data-driven leadership
• Deep expertise in brand strategy and integrated growth marketing
• Data-driven approach to funnel optimization and reporting
• Excellent collaboration skills across functions
• Proficiency with modern marketing and sales tools, such as Hubspot
• Solid skills in leadership, hiring, and coaching high-performing teams
• Excellent storytelling and communication for internal and external use
• Ability to translate company goals into clear marketing KPIs
• Experience in L&D or HR tech space is a plus
• Typically requires 8+ years of B2B marketing experience primarily in sales-led SaaS, with 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Director/VP) in a mid-market, scaling environment
• Fluent skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage
