Spanish Language Speaker | Peru

Qualifications and requirements

• A native-level Spanish (Peru) speaker
• Comfortable speaking in a natural, conversational tone
• Experienced in voice recording (podcasts, streaming, voice-over, etc. is a plus)
• Equipped with a professional home recording setup (external mic required)
• Able to record in a quiet, echo-free environment
• External microphone is mandatory (no built-in or headset mics)
• Dynamic microphones (best for untreated rooms): Shure SM58, Shure MV7 / MV7+, RODE PodMic / PodMic USB, or similar
• Condenser microphones (for treated rooms): RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti / Yeti Orb, Blue Bluebird, Blue Baby Bottle, or similar
• Recording environment:
  • Quiet (no background noise like fans, traffic, appliances)
  • Dry (no echo or hollow sound)
  • Treated for studio-quality output (isolation shields, sound-absorbing pads, etc.)
• 🚫 Not accepted: Laptop mics, phone mics, AirPods, earbuds, headsets, or gaming microphones

• Compensation: $35 USD per hour

Job functions

• Record natural conversations and scripted scenarios in Spanish (Peru)
• Submit a short audition (2 samples of ~30 seconds) using your home setup
• Participate in guided discussions and customer-service style dialogues
• Complete two scheduled recording sessions (~4 hours each)
• Help train AI systems to better understand real, everyday language
