Branch Manager

Chaberton Professionals, the division of Chaberton Partners dedicated to the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is currently seeking a Branch Manager for an international group active in environmental-facilities services. The role is based in Romania.

Position Description

The Branch Manager, reporting directly to HQ, will be the custodian of the Group's business, brand and P&L in the destination country, with full strategic, operational and commercial responsibility for the development of the branch. The candidate will operate in a sector with high barriers to entry, where regulatory compliance, safety (HSEQ) and risk management play a central role, acting as a credible institutional point of contact with government bodies, local authorities and major industrial players or public utilities, ensuring operational continuity and risk mitigation for the host country.

In particular, responsibilities include:

• defining the branch budget in line with HQ guidelines, holding full responsibility for the revenue and profitability (EBITDA) of the three Business Units;
• developing business at the institutional level, taking part in major international tenders and building long-term commercial relationships;
• monitoring operational KPIs and managing legal, financial and security risks, with particular attention to critical infrastructure and electro-instrumentation services;
• leading people and the corporate culture, recruiting, motivating and retaining the best local talent, and transferring the parent company's values (flexibility, decisiveness, dedication) while adapting them to the local context.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering (Management, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental), combined with an MBA or a solid economics/business background;
• At least 8-10 years of experience in General Management, Country Management or Business Unit Management roles abroad, preferably in large industrial services or energy;
• Fluent in English and, preferably, in the language of the destination country;
• Italian Knowledge mandatory;
• Strong international mindset and the ability to move confidently between institutional settings and on-the-ground operations;
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to make quick decisions even in uncertain situations.

Economic and Contractual Terms

• Contract level: Manager Level
• Gross Annual Salary (RAL): € 80.000 - € 100.000
