The Channel Marketing Lead plays a key role in translating marketing strategies into concrete actions. Working closely with Senior Marketing Managers, Customer Communication & Content, Digital, Technical, and Commercial teams, this role focuses on execution excellence, coordination, and continuous optimization of marketing activities. This role requires fluency in both German and English t o drive maximum impact and business success.
The Marketing Lead reports to Customer Communication & Content Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & activity execution
- Lead the execution and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with business priorities and commercial objectives.
- Translate marketing strategies into actionable plans, driving timely delivery and high-quality execution across multiple markets and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and lead generation performance.
- Take ownership of assigned growth initiatives, programs, or application areas and act as the marketing lead for execution.
- Lead the development, localization, and rollout of marketing content and assets, ensuring relevance to customer needs and market requirements.
- Provide guidance to agencies, subject matter experts, and internal stakeholders to deliver compelling, technically accurate, and brand-compliant content.
- Identify content gaps and proactively recommend new content initiatives that support business growth objectives.
- Champion best practices for asset management, governance, and content effectiveness.
- Own the execution and continuous optimization of digital marketing activities including web, email, paid media, social media, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Analyze campaign and channel performance, translating insights into clear recommendations and improvement actions.
- Partner with the digital team to drive SEO, content performance, marketing automation, and data quality initiatives.
- Monitor marketing KPIs and contribute to business reviews with performance insights and recommendations.
- Serve as the key point of contact for assigned stakeholders, ensuring alignment between marketing activities and business objectives.
- Manage agency and supplier relationships, providing strategic briefs, evaluating performance, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders across marketing, sales, digital, technical, and product teams to drive effective collaboration and delivery.
- Identify and implement improvements to marketing processes, tools, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven track record of independently managing integrated marketing campaigns and delivering measurable results.
- Experience leading agency relationships, briefing partners, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, SEO, paid media, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaign performance and translate insights into optimization actions.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and markets.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of how marketing contributes to business growth and pipeline development.
- Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing or communication roles.
- Proficiency in German and English is required; additional European languages like Dutch or Polish are a plus.
