Your main purpose
Plan, manage, and oversee the full lifecycle of tender processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), and develop tender strategies aligned with procurement and organizational objectives.
Prepare, review, and issue tender documentation including technical specifications, evaluation criteria, and contractual terms, ensuring all tender procedures follow internal governance, procurement policies, and applicable regulations.
Manage communication with contractors and suppliers throughout the tender process, organize contractor/ supplier briefings, clarification meetings, and site visits when required, and maintain transparency and fairness during contractor/ supplier engagement.
Coordinate bid evaluation committees and ensure evaluation methodologies are applied consistently, and support cross-functional teams in assessing commercial, technical, and financial aspects of proposals.
Prepare evaluation reports, recommendations, and approval documentation for tender awards, and work closely with internal departments to define requirements and evaluation criteria, ensuring tendering processes comply with internal procurement policies, audit requirements, and applicable legislation.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all tender activities, identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supplier selection, continuously improve tendering processes, templates, and documentation, promote best practices and standardization within procurement activities, track and report key procurement and tender performance metrics, and provide insights on supplier competitiveness, tender cycle times, and cost optimization opportunities.
What will you bring?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, with 5–8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or tender management, and demonstrated experience managing complex or high-value tender processes.
Experience working in structured procurement environments with governance and compliance requirements, and strong knowledge of procurement and tendering procedures.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong analytical and commercial evaluation capability.
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with high attention to detail and commitment to compliance and transparency.
Negotiation and supplier management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines, fluent English required; Greek/ Spanish preferred.
