We are looking for a strategic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and elevate our marketing operations. The Opportunity
The Marketing Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing team while partnering with leadership to develop and execute cohesive marketing strategies. This person will be responsible for bringing structure, alignment, and accountability across campaigns and ensuring that marketing efforts are consistent, impactful, and aligned with business objectives.
This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys managing people, improving processes, and transforming strategic ideas into clear plans that a team can execute.
Responsibilities
- Manage marketing team workflow, priorities, and deadlines using project management tools such as ClickUp
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals across content, video, production, social media, SEO, and outreach
- Manage internal team members and external contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Partner with leadership to translate marketing strategy into actionable campaign plans, briefs, and timelines
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across content, website, social media, email, SEO, and digital channels
- Develop and maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules
- Establish and enforce quality standards across all marketing materials and channels
- Maintain brand consistency across digital platforms and marketing assets
- Recruit, onboard, and train employees and contractors as needed
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, and performance discussions
- Review campaign performance data and use insights to guide future marketing decisions
- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve research, content creation, and marketing workflows
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of marketing experience with proven experience managing teams, contractors, or cross-functional campaigns
- Experience leading marketing initiatives from strategy through execution
- Strong project and people management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience overseeing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns
- Strong editorial judgment, writing, editing, and brand management skills
- Experience guiding social media and/or video marketing strategies
- Ability to interpret marketing analytics and performance data to inform decisions
- Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, and digital marketing best practices
- Experience using AI tools to improve marketing processes and productivity
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in legal, healthcare, or another regulated industry
- Experience managing freelancers or contractors through platforms such as Upwork
- Familiarity with SEO outreach and link-building strategies
- Experience marketing to specialized audiences or niche markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Work Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- Ability to travel occasionally as needed
