Category Marketing Manager

EMEA Recruitment is collaborating with a leading global brewing organization seeking a Category Manager to shape the future of Marketing & Sales Procurement across Western Europe, driving optimization of the company's procurement approach in this space.

In this role, you will ensure the best return on investment and secure the right quality agencies and services for the business.

Responsibilities of the Category Manager - Marketing Procurement:

• Support the Global Category Procurement team in deploying global strategies where applicable
• Analyze category spend and identify opportunities and sub-categories for optimization
• Develop regional category strategies within the defined scope
• Lead regional sourcing initiatives or develop best practices, tools, and processes to enable more efficient investment across regions and markets
• Collaborate closely with key senior global, regional, and local stakeholders, as well as procurement teams, to deliver efficiencies

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales Procurement
• Proven track record in category strategy development, spend optimization, execution and project management
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Solid financial acumen, with expertise in business case development and ROI analysis
