Field Marketing Specialist

The position reports to the Dining Performance Manager of State DOCs and interacts with all levels of management, clients, vendors, and multiple consumer stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and project manage repeatable field processes to meet or exceed key metrics measuring operating profit, product rotation, waste management, menu, presentation, and merchandising standards.
- Analyze sales data and key metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
- Partner with Florida, Regional, and Nationwide Marketing Leadership to implement processes and programs that will drive measurable results.
- Actively monitor the industry and seek insights for local pricing, products, and vendors with tactical outcomes and timelines for implementation. Conduct surveys and focus groups and monitor feedback loops with our customers to regularly improve service.
- Train and inspire the field operations teams new planograms/menus/promotions/signage to ensure proper setup (communication, product, merchandising)
- Support operations team with client business reviews, events, sales presentations, providing insights as well as new products, services, training, and audits.
- Support account openings by ensuring all components are ready for implementation (signage, merchandising, onsite installs).
- Responsible for being the expert on retail dining technology functionality including but not limited to reporting, promotions, implementation, and maintenance.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing and retail food operations.
- Foodservice, advertising, CPG, DSD, IT and/or retail marketing experience is preferred.
- ServSafe certificate holder or will need to become certified within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent verbal, presentation, written and interpersonal communication skills with strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into clear, concise, and useful recommendations.
- Activate brand standards and fully execute at all identified points of service, resulting in consistency throughout the state of Florida.
- This position must have organizational and project management experience.
- Must have experience or a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- A proven ability to increase sales and measure the impact/return on investment on implementation of programs.
- A demonstrated ability to be proactive and assertive in identifying and capturing growth opportunities, as well as thinking creatively and strategically.
- This position requires solid strategic, analytical, and decision-making experience.
- Valid driver?s license
