About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking the services of an experienced Event Marketing Project Manager consultant to support the planning and execution of commercial marketing events across North America. The engagement involves managing end-to-end delivery of executive briefings, customer events, roadshows, webinars, industry conferences, and account-based marketing programs while ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and sales engagement goals.

Services to be Provided

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for commercial marketing events.
• Coordinate event planning activities across multiple stakeholders, vendors, agencies, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
• Partner closely with Commercial Marketing Strategists to align event objectives, target audiences, messaging, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support invitation campaigns, registration activities, attendance goals, and target account engagement.
• Manage event logistics, attendee communications, registration processes, and execution activities.
• Track budgets, purchase orders, and operational event expenses.
• Maintain project documentation, action logs, status reports, and post-event summaries.
• Monitor registrations, attendance metrics, customer engagement results, and overall program performance.
• Upload, manage, and track event-generated leads within internal lead management systems, ensuring timely lead routing and reporting.
• Provide stakeholders with regular updates regarding progress, risks, issues, and required actions.

Expertise Required

• Proven experience managing corporate events, marketing programs, and large-scale customer engagement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, vendors, agencies, and event logistics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, sales, and operational teams.
• Experience tracking registrations, attendance metrics, engagement outcomes, and event performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Experience using CRM, lead management, and event registration platforms.
• Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

This is a business-to-business engagement. Candidates must represent an incorporated entity, hold a valid business number, maintain appropriate insurance, and invoice for services rendered.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting B2B technology, commercial marketing, or enterprise sales organizations.
• Experience managing executive briefings, customer roadshows, webinars, and industry conferences.
• Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) programs and customer engagement strategies.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
• Experience working across North American event programs and distributed stakeholder groups.
