About the role

Want to be the voice of the customer? As Insights and Analytics Manager, DACH in Vestacy, you’ll have the freedom to put the end user at the heart of a some of the world’s leading brands. To succeed, you will enjoy rolling up your sleeves, leading the thinking, contributing to strategy, and building the future of our brands together.


Your responsibilities

This role is part of the global I&A team of Vestacy but will be located and focus on the DACH region, working alongside the cross-functional commercial team. You will be responsible for leading insights & analytics in the region and support to develop a robust commercial strategy and activation plan:

  • Have a deep understanding of consumers in DACH across categories and be the consumer insights and knowledge champion in the region
  • Strong focus and involvement in managing the business, brand and activation/commercialization, reviewing business objectives with regional and country management, to develop, manage and analyze learning plans to best meet them
  • Provide leadership within regional business teams to generate actionable insights from research results, contributing to practical action plans following research
  • Learning Plans: Leverage global standard and consistent methodologies in partnership with global external partners (Kantar, Ipsos, Bases, Zappi, Toluna, etc) and identify appropriate learning plans to meet the regional business needs.
  • Syndicated data: Define the regional data needs with input from stakeholders, then work closely with the Global Market Insights team for retail audit and household panel service acquisition in the region, as well as with the suppliers on ensuring high quality deliverables, reporting and analysis.
  • Brand plan: Generate local foundational insights to feed into annual brand plan
  • Shopper insights: Lead Shopper, channel, customer insights & planogram validation
  • Equity & Comms tracking: Lead Equity and comms tracking at local level
  • Research budget management: plan and manage the regional I&A budget with input from the regional management, the brand team and guidance from the global I&A Director
  • Supplier management: develop strong relationships with global and regional external research suppliers to ensure superior service and quality. Focus on the extension of faster, more efficient and accurate AI tools & partners.
  • I&A team: develop and build strong relationships within the global I&A organization. Ensure best practices and market insights sharing within, and opportunity to lead capability areas within the global I&A community


The experience we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer & market insights or a related field, with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, preferably working on a FMCG product or brand, or in a market research agency
  • Experience in the DACH market, knowledge of consumers in the region
  • Experience with common research databases and tools: NIQ, Bases, Toluna etc
  • Curiosity in experimenting with new research methodologies including AI research tools
