Your role
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of the property (portfolio of properties between Hotels & Vacation rentals) by developing and implementing revenue management strategies.
This role involves analyzing market trends, demand patterns, and competitor behavior to optimize pricing, distribution channels, and inventory management across all revenue streams (rooms, F&B, events, and ancillary services).
Your Journey
- Develop and execute pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Produce accurate forecasts of demand, revenue, and occupancy.
- Monitor and adjust rates, restrictions, and promotions based on market conditions.
- Support budgeting and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports (e.g., ADR, RevPAR, GOPPAR).
- Identify revenue opportunities and underperforming segments.
- Prepare regular reports for management highlighting trends and recommendations.
- Utilize revenue management systems (RMS), PMS, and BI tools effectively.
- Oversee distribution channels (OTA, GDS, brand website, direct booking platforms).
- Ensure rate parity and consistency across all online and offline platforms.
- Collaborate with digital marketing and sales teams to optimize visibility and conversion.
- Conduct competitive set analysis, monitor pricing, occupancy, and promotions.
- Track market trends, local events, and seasonality to anticipate demand shifts.
- Provide input for sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with the Sales, Reservations, and Front Office teams to align strategies.
- Train and mentor team members on revenue management principles.
- Participate in weekly business reviews and management meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in revenue management or yield management within hospitality (portfolio of properties between Hotels & Vacation rentals).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with PMS (Opera, Cloudbeds, etc.), RMS, and Excel.
- Knowledge of OTA extranets, channel managers, and BI dashboards.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
