Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Gift Card Program is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and strategic marketing of a gift card portfolio. This role drives program growth, customer loyalty, financial performance, and cross-functional execution while managing vendor relationships and supporting enterprise-wide gift card initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual gift card budget, program profitability, and overall P&L performance.
  • Develop and execute gift card strategies, promotional calendars, and marketing initiatives to drive year-over-year portfolio growth.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, franchise partners, third-party vendors, retail brokers, and business partners.
  • Manage third-party marketing placements, budgets, and ROI analysis to optimize program

  • Lead cross-functional projects and new program initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Monitor program performance, analyze key metrics, and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial results.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and capability assessments while identifying new partnership opportunities to support business growth.
  • Coordinate with operations, training, guest support, and technology teams to resolve system issues, improve processes, and ensure smooth program execution.
  • Support marketing campaign integration, optimize campaigns through testing and analysis, and oversee gift card production forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Monitor fraud trends, evaluate gift card designs, drive innovation through new program features, and serve as the subject matter expert for gift card operations.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing marketing and operations for nationally scaled gift card programs.
  • Strong understanding of gift card financial operations, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Experience working with third-party partners, retail brokers, vendors, and external gift card service providers.
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex operational challenges.
  • Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across internal and external teams.
  • Restaurant and franchise industry experience is preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to improving customer experiences and driving business growth.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is based.
