Sponsorships & Operations Lead

This is an exciting Intermediate level role within the Radio team at NZME, working with iconic brands like ZM, The Hits and Radio Hauraki and supporting some of our biggest client sponsorships.

This role is perfect for someone who’s organised, proactive and great with people. Media experience is a bonus but definitely not essential – you just need an awesome attitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional work.

You’ll work closely with the GM Commercial Integration – Audio, where you will:

Own Key Radio Sponsorships (end-to-end)

• Lead the delivery of radio show sponsorships and features such as News & Weather, from working with the sales team to find suitable sponsors, through to the implementation of sponsorship elements
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners
• Lead clients WIPs, providing clear and proactive communication throughout each campaign
• Deliver accurate reporting, insights and post-campaign wrap-ups

• Own renewal timelines for key clients, ensuring opportunities are never missed
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients to drive ongoing partnerships
• Identify opportunities to grow and extend existing sponsorships

• Review and improve ways of working, processes and systems
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation across campaigns and team resources
• Manage key operational tools including trackers, timelines and reporting
• Ensure audio ratecards and audience/social metrics are kept up to date and accurate

You might come from a project coordination, EA, media agency, sponsorships or operations background; what matters most is how you work.
