(Mid/Senior) Marketing Manager

On behalf of our client, a leading commercial distribution enterprise operating across Greece and international markets, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Marketing Manager. The company specializes in high-demand consumer products, lifestyle goods, and popular entertainment merchandise. Managing an extensive portfolio of international partner brands, they deliver integrated commercial and marketing solutions across diverse retail networks and e-commerce channels.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will hold a pivotal strategic role, overseeing the end-to-end marketing life cycle for a diverse portfolio of consumer brands. Working closely with Executive Leadership, Sales Management, and Brand Managers, you will be responsible for annual strategy formulation, quarterly campaign mapping (Q1–Q4), budget allocation, and high-impact execution. In this position, you will lead an established in-house team of 6 creative and digital specialists (spanning Brand Communications, Digital Performance, Graphic Design, and Content Creation), while directing external agency partnerships and major commercial trade events.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Brand Management: Develop and execute comprehensive annual and quarterly marketing plans for focus brands across the portfolio.
• Budget Optimization: Manage and strategically allocate marketing budgets provided by executive leadership to ensure maximum ROI across above-the-line (ATL) and below-the-line (BTL) campaigns.
• Team Leadership & Operations: Supervise, direct, and mentor a 6-person multidisciplinary marketing team, fostering high performance across digital, design, content, and communications.
• Commercial & Executive Alignment: Present marketing strategies, campaign proposals, and budget breakdowns to Sales Management and Executive Leadership for sign-off and commercial integration.
• External Partner Management: Lead relationships with external advertising, PR, and digital agencies, establishing collaboration frameworks and delegating campaign execution to team members.
• Trade Marketing & Events: Oversee planning, budgeting, and booth execution for key local and international trade shows and retail activation events.
• International Vendor Engagement: Travel internationally (approximately 5–7 times per year across Europe for 2–5 day trips) to attend partner meetings, align on global brand visions, and build vendor relations (travel responsibilities will be phased in gradually following onboarding).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline. An MBA or MSc in Marketing/Management will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Senior Marketing or Marketing Manager role.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of direct team management and leading cross-functional creative teams.
• Core Competencies: End-to-end expertise in Brand Management, Strategic Planning, Trade Marketing, and Digital Strategy.
• Business Acumen: Strong financial awareness, budget management, and campaign performance evaluation skills.
• Languages: Business fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with digital analytics tools.
• Industry Background: Background in Commercial Distribution, Consumer Goods (FMCG), Electronics, Retail, or Advertising/Marketing Agencies handling diverse consumer product portfolios will be considered a strong advantage.
