Business Development & Marketing Officer

Help drive the growth of an international infrastructure, technology and advisory group.

Operating across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, the JJ Ryan Group continues to expand its service offerings, client base and geographic reach.

We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Business Development & Growth Coordinator to support and coordinate the Group's Pursuits Team.

This role sits at the centre of our growth strategy and will support business development, marketing, lead generation, customer engagement, industry intelligence and growth initiatives across multiple brands and international markets.

Working directly with senior leadership, you will help identify opportunities, improve market visibility, support client engagement activities and contribute to the continued growth of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

• Identify and track new business opportunities
• Maintain lead and opportunity pipelines
• Support client engagement initiatives
• Conduct market and competitor research
• Assist with business development reporting and KPIs

Marketing & Brand Management

• Coordinate marketing campaigns across the Group
• Manage social media channels and digital content
• Support website content and updates
• Coordinate publicity and promotional activities
• Assist with awards, submissions and industry recognition programs

Customer Experience & Market Intelligence

• Support customer feedback initiatives
• Develop and maintain market intelligence databases
• Track client engagement and growth metrics
• Help identify emerging markets and strategic opportunities

Events & Industry Engagement

• Coordinate conferences, industry events and sponsorships
• Manage event logistics and promotional activities
• Support professional association engagement
• Track outcomes and opportunities arising from industry events

Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain CRM systems and databases
• Develop dashboards and management reports
• Support automation, AI and digital growth initiatives
• Improve business development and marketing processes
• Coordinate activities across multiple brands and business units

About You:

Essential

• Outstanding written and verbal English skills
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities
• Experience in business development, marketing, sales support or growth operations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Desirable

• Experience supporting engineering, consulting, technology or professional services businesses
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Dynamics, Salesforce or similar)
• Social media and content creation experience
• Graphic design capability
• Experience using AI tools and automation platforms
• Exposure to international businesses or professional services firms
