Operations Manager
Indexed description
re:center is a boutique wellness retreat property in Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa — a place built around nature, movement, and mindfulness. We're a small, hands-on team, and every guest's experience depends on the person running the property day to day. That's this role and it's full-time onsite.
The Role
The Operations Manager owns the day-to-day running of re:center: guest experience, property and facilities, on-site staff, and the revenue and concierge protocols that keep the property running smoothly. You're the person a guest sees when something needs solving, and the person the team looks to for direction — a hands-on, on-site leadership role, not a desk
job. Reports directly to the General Manager.
What You'll Own
• Guest experience end-to-end — pre-arrival through departure, concierge services, and resolution of anything that comes up.
• Property and facilities — a supervisory approach that ensures housekeeping, maintenance, and presentation consistently meet re:center standards.
• Revenue — making sure the protocols that secure income are followed spotlessly, across all revenue streams (accommodation, wellness club & concierge).
• Team and business partners — day-to-day coordination and follow-up/through with on-site staff and
practitioners/partners.
• Retreat and program logistics — making sure rooms, spaces, and schedules are ready ahead of every program.
• Health, safety, and standards across the property, including acting as the on-site responder for operational incidents.
What You Bring
• A proactive attitude — present and walking the property, spotting areas of opportunity, and proposing changes,
improvements, and new processes without being asked.
• A warm, guest-first presence — anticipating what a guest needs before they ask, with genuine care, empathy, and
real relationship-building, not a transactional service style.
• A calm, organized problem-solver with strong attention to detail and confident decision-making under pressure, able
to run many moving parts at once with minimal supervision.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort operations — boutique, lodge, or wellness settings preferred.
• Bilingual, Spanish and English.
• Based in or able to relocate to Santa Teresa.
• Someone who genuinely lives re:center's values, not just recites them.
• Ready to grow professionally alongside this project — we're a startup, and the role will evolve as we do.
