Currently seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Science and Clinical team.


Role Summary

The SDR drives new business growth in the Life Sciences sector (Pharma, Biotech, Medical Device, Diagnostics) by prospecting, qualifying leads, and expanding client engagement for workforce solutions, including Consulting Services and Functional Service Provider (FSP) models. The role focuses on strategic outreach, pipeline development, and supporting RFP and proposal activity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts, pipelines, and market trends to position tailored workforce solutions.
  • Prospect and engage key decision-makers (C-suite, VPs, Directors, TA, Procurement).
  • Execute personalized outbound outreach and schedule meetings for senior sales leaders.
  • Generate qualified leads and increase inbound/outbound RFP activity.
  • Track all activities, pipeline, and client interactions in HubSpot.
  • Produce regular KPI and activity reports (meetings, RFPs, proposals, account penetration).
  • Support client engagement efforts including webinars, conferences, and industry events.


Tools & Systems

  • HubSpot CRM, MS Teams, Outlook.
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, ZymeWire, industry databases.


Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, recruitment, or account management within Life Science or Scientific space.
  • Familiarity with FSP and consulting service models preferred.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and CRM experience (HubSpot or similar).
  • Experience supporting RFPs, proposals, and sales reporting.
  • Business development experience in Clinical Research, Clinical Trials, and/or CRO/FSP industry. Business to business sales capacity preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop business; build consultative relationships; thrive in a team environment and have effective networking skills.
  • Must be a top performer.
  • Demonstrate a strong internal/external customer focus, positive personal leadership and drive, and solid negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Staffing industry experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.


Compensation

  • Base salary starts around $70k range (negotiable - based on experience) plus uncapped commission
