Role: Junior Sales Associate

Compensation: $55,000 Base Salary + Commissions

Full-Time | Remote


Compensation includes base salary, commission opportunities, and opportunities to travel to medical conferences, sponsor meetings, and industry events throughout the year.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, healthcare events, and B2B relationship management.


This is not a passive support role. You will work directly with leadership to support sponsorship outreach, build relationships with prospective partners, draft proposals, manage pipeline activity, and help close new business opportunities across conferences, digital education, and branded initiatives.


This role combines sales, communication, operations, and client management. Strong performers will have significant growth opportunities as the company expands.


This position is remote, with quarterly team meetings in Sacramento, CA, and travel opportunities to conferences and industry events throughout the year.


Responsibilities

Proposal Drafting & Execution

  • Draft sponsorship and B2B sales proposals for leadership teams
  • Adapt proposals based on feedback and deliver revised versions quickly and professionally
  • Track proposal activity, follow up on open items, and maintain accurate pipeline updates
  • Coordinate with internal teams to make sure approved proposals move into execution without delay

Outreach & Pipeline

  • Conduct outbound outreach to prospective sponsors and corporate partners via email and phone
  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings with decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline status, and outreach history
  • Prepare sponsorship decks, follow-up materials, and sales support assets tied to active opportunities
  • Support sponsorship outreach and networking efforts at conferences and live events


Coordination & Reporting

  • Support sponsor onboarding and internal handoff once partnerships are finalized
  • Track outreach and proposal metrics, report weekly to the CEO
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and outbound materials

  • Proposals and outreach activity contribute to $800K in annual sponsorship and partnership revenue


Qualifications

Required

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, client-facing, or administrative support roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and polished approach
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative without constant direction
  • Reliable and accountable with strong ownership mindset
  • Comfortable learning CRM systems, outreach tools, and sales workflows quickly

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to sales, events, healthcare, or wellness industries
  • Experience with CRM systems or outreach platforms
  • Comfortable on the phone with professionals
  • Interest in conferences, healthcare education, partnerships, or business development
