We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our SA/WA based sales team. You can be based in either Adelaide or Perth.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable business relationships across our SME lending products. You will act as a business mentor to your network of brokers and proactively support to help them build their networks and referral sources.


The role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, accountants, bookkeepers and other referral partners.
  • Proactively manage a sales pipeline, converting new leads and opportunities into funded loans.
  • Drive awareness, recommendation and adoption of Moula products through partner channels.
  • Present Moula's value proposition to partners and industry groups, both one-on-one and in larger forums.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver an outstanding experience for partners and their clients.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product and Customer Experience teams to support growth initiatives.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and generate new business.


About You

  • Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management or partner sales within financial services, commercial finance or SME lending.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience working with brokers, accountants, bookkeepers or other referral partners is highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • A passion for helping small businesses succeed and a desire to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within your territory as required.
