Sales Representative - Power Generation Sales

As a member of our Power Generation business development team, you will be responsible for driving our brand recognition and financial growth across all regions, having multi-tasking ability is paramount as you will be working with multiple customers at once. You will work to identify potential new customers and contact them to try and establish new avenues of business and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Research: Identifying potential markets and clients through market research and provided materials.
- Strategy development: Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business goals.
- Collaboration: Working with internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Analysis: Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Lead generation: Generating new business leads for our company.
- Lead qualification: Qualifying and scoring leads so that the marketing and sales teams know where a lead is in the buyer's journey.
- Lead nurturing: Engaging and nurturing leads through multiple channels such as emails, social media, or phone calls
- Lead tracking: Tracking and documenting all interactions and lead progress using CRM tools.
- Lead reporting: Analyzing and reporting on lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead generation strategy evaluation: Evaluating the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and recommending improvements.
- High school diploma required with post-secondary education preferred.
- Industry experience preferred.
- 2+ years inside sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills to include MS suite of products, CRM and keyboarding skills.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred
- Persuasive and goal oriented
- Positive attitude required in a busy sales environment
