Cochrane Supply continues to grow as we seek an Account Executive for our branch in Cleveland, OH.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for managing client accounts, fostering client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The Account Executive plays a crucial role in understanding client needs, proposing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Core duties and responsibilities include, but limited to:
- Work with sales leaders to maximize opportunities and execute sales operations.
- Create detailed business plans to attain predetermined goals and quotas.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to long term accounts.
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
- Present products to prospective clients.
- Provide professional after-sales support to maximize customer loyalty.
- Remain in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs.
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues to maintain the company’s reputation.
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data.
- Maintain inside sales proficiencies.
- Support branch operations in region.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This is a full-time position, working minimum 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, in an office environment. This role also commutes to visit customers at off-site location(s).
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or engineering.
- 3-5 years of relative business experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Business acumen.
- Enthusiastic, competitive, and passionate.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a salaried position, paid bi-weekly, ranging between $60,000 and $110,000 per year. Starting salary is negotiable and based on qualifications experience.

The Company establishes annual employee bonuses determined based on key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to this role, as well as the overall performance of the company. Performance is reviewed annually. Final bonus amount is dependent on both individual achievements and the company’s financial results. The bonus program is discretionary and subject to change at any time at the company's sole discretion.
