Role Description The Account Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Round Rock, TX. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, nurturing inbound and outbound leads, and supporting the sales pipeline through proactive outreach. Daily tasks include engaging prospective customers via phone, email, and online channels, conducting needs assessments, and scheduling meetings or product demonstrations for senior sales team members. The position also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, preparing quotes or proposals under guidance, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The Account Development Representative will contribute to ongoing process improvements and support marketing and sales initiatives that drive growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build rapport and foster long-term relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in a professional environment.
  • Sales aptitude with a focus on lead qualification, opportunity discovery, and pipeline development.
  • Organization skills to manage multiple accounts, track activities in CRM tools, and follow up consistently.
  • Ability to learn technical product features and translate them into customer value.
  • Comfort with phone- and email-based outreach, and familiarity with basic sales and marketing software.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Previous experience in inside sales, account development, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or a related field is a plus.
