What You Get To Do

Agent Relations is responsible for achieving assigned sales/membership growth targets through Independent Agents and Agencies. The team is focused on recruiting independent agents to seminars, webinars, and special events as well as cross-contracting to eligible specific lines or carriers.

  • Recruits health and life insurance agents through daily outbound call campaigns.
  • Continually build and service our growing business partners of Agents and Agencies.
  • Provide a structured on-boarding process, assisting with corporate contracting, appointment requirements / carrier certification requirements, carrier enrolment tools, and systems. Organize involvement in formal and on-the-job training to ensure an accurate understanding of our products, compliance requirements, and sales systems.
  • Acts as a liaison between Agents and health plans with respect to the sales process to ensure Agents are appropriately set up and supported across their lifecycle. This includes contracting, licensing/appointment, certification, training, enrollment administration, commission payment, agent servicing, etc.
  • Ensures sales techniques are following CMS regulations, and regularly review sales results and provide feedback to Agents.
  • Facilitates engagement of Agents in executing these plans and ensure that Agents appropriately represent our product portfolio and service offerings.
  • Ensures Agents adhere to sales and marketing guidelines associated with compliance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Physical Job Requirements & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours in an office environment. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Involves frequent telephone contact with agents and employees. Interaction with others is constant and may be interruptive or involve dealing with angry or upset people.

The employee may occasionally lift files, paper, or office equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and other such office equipment as necessary. Vision must be correctable to 20/30 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and the ability to optimally communicate is required.
