Specialty Development Executive (Outside Sales)

Role: Sales representative focusing on diagnostic and oncology products, responsible for achieving sales targets and driving growth within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review a comprehensive annual business plan.
• Prospect, cold call, and build a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.
• Forecast sales accurately and maintain a compliant sales funnel aligned with quotas.
• Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Learn, position, and sell integrated oncology-focused products and services.
• Communicate value propositions effectively at all customer levels.
• Provide in-services, training, and support to clinical and operational staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain detailed account documentation within CRM systems.
• Support existing customers with education, product updates, and market insights.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Business.
• Five or more years of outside sales experience, preferably in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Experience in oncology, surgery, hereditary cancer, or related sales models is a plus.
• Established relationships within hospitals, clinics, or surgical centers preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret complex scientific data and influence customer decisions.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; willingness to travel up to 50%.
