Key Responsibilities
- Partner Identification & Qualification
- Work from partner target lists identified by the Strategic Partnerships Manager and Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, conducting research to qualify fit against Sokin's ideal partner profile
- Identify and map the right personas within target organisations (e.g. Treasury, Finance, Payments, Commercial leads)
- Outreach & Engagement
- Proactively engage identified personas through outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, events) to generate interest
- Qualify partner needs and interest level before booking meetings
- Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings for the Strategic Partnerships Manager or Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager
- Support with meeting preparation, including background research and briefing notes
- Sales Cycle Support
- Stay engaged through the wider sales cycle, supporting the Managers with follow-ups, coordination, and administrative elements of deal progression
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach, qualification status, and meetings booked in the CRM
- Market & Sector Learning
- Build a working understanding of the GCC payments landscape, including Fintech, Banks, FIs, ecommerce, marketplaces, travel, and logistics
- Develop knowledge of cross-border payments and FX fundamentals to have credible early-stage conversations with partners
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or partnerships (financial services, payments, or ecommerce experience preferred)
- Confident communicator with strong outbound outreach and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach and qualification activity
- Comfortable working towards meeting/qualification-based targets
- Genuine interest in payments, fintech, and the GCC market
- Experience in a high-growth FinTech or startup environment is a plus
