Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Colorado Springs Area, responsible for managing relationships with new and existing commercial security clients. This role oversees the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and opportunity development through proposal generation, contract negotiation, and post-installation follow-up. The Account Manager collaborates closely with project managers, engineers, technicians, and vendor partners to align system design and service offerings with client needs and budgets. Daily responsibilities include conducting site visits, gathering requirements, preparing estimates, coordinating with internal teams on project timelines, and ensuring clear communication with stakeholders throughout each engagement. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, monitoring account performance, responding to service concerns, and identifying opportunities for upgrades, managed services, and long-term service agreements.

Qualifications
- Client relationship and account management skills, including stakeholder communication, needs assessment, and long-term partnership development.
- Sales and business development capabilities, such as prospecting, opportunity qualification, proposal creation, and contract negotiation.
- Basic technical understanding of commercial security solutions (access control, video surveillance, intrusion, fire alarm, AV, and structured cabling) with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Project coordination and organizational skills, including scheduling, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities for crafting estimates, responding to RFPs, and presenting solutions to decision-makers.
- Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and comfort working with digital documentation and reporting.
- Proven experience in B2B account management, sales, or customer success, ideally within security, construction, technology, or related industries.
