Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative generates revenue by identifying new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing customers, primarily using phone, email, and digital sales channels. This role collaborates with sales leadership to execute strategic plans, expand market share, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Quota Attainment: Achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets for both new customer acquisition and existing account growth as outlined in the annual compensation plan.*
- New Business Development: Identify, prospect, and build relationships with prospective clients outside the current customer base.*
- Account Management & Retention: Partner with existing clients to upsell, cross-sell, and maintain strong ongoing customer retention.*
- Market Intelligence: Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and industry pricing changes to sales leadership.*
- Strategic Input: Contribute insights to management to help design and implement strategic programs that drive new growth.*
- CRM & Tools: Leverage company database tools and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) modules to streamline sales workflow and optimize conversion.
- Customer Communication: Communicate clearly and transparently regarding product configurations, sales agreements, terms, and payment obligations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Accounts Receivable, Sales Operations, and cross-departmental teams to resolve account transfers, subscription changes, or cancellations smoothly.
- Product Demos & Launches: Deliver remote product demonstrations and support market entry for new product offerings.
- Event Representation: Attend industry trade shows and corporate events to engage prospects and represent the brand.
- Additional Duties: Execute other sales-related projects and tasks as assigned.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of direct B2B or end-user sales experience required; experience in computer software, hardware, or technology sectors strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, cloud-based CRM systems, and quoting/CPQ software.
- Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professional composure.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to sales meetings, trade shows, and company events as needed.
