Key Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of our growth — generating new opportunities and building your own pipeline.
- Connect with SMB owners and decision-makers through outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn and beyond)
- Introduce Sage and articulate how our solutions can support business success
- Qualify opportunities using frameworks like BANT or SPIN
- Handle objections with confidence and curiosity
- Build relationships that lead to lasting customer value
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to convert opportunities into revenue
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a lead generation or outbound sales role
- Working knowledge of BANT, SPIN, or similar sales methodologies
- Confidence in handling objections and navigating customer conversations
- A proactive mindset — you enjoy building pipeline and creating opportunities
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport

- Candidates must have current authorisation to work in Australia
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in sales or business development
- Exposure to APAC markets (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia) with an ability to adapt to diverse cultural and commercial environments
- Demonstrated ability or strong interest in leveraging AI and modern sales technology to improve productivity
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM is highly desirable
