About Gratia Health

At Gratia Health, we believe the people who care for patients deserve technology that cares for them. Every day, nurses and frontline caregivers carry enormous responsibility, yet too often they receive little recognition, inconsistent communication, and limited support to sustain the behaviors that drive exceptional patient care. That's why we built Gratia.

Our platform helps healthcare organizations translate strategic priorities into consistent frontline action by serving as the last-mile engagement and behavioral reinforcement layer. Through recognition, interactive learning, targeted communication, and engaging team experiences, we help hospitals strengthen workforce stability, clinical excellence, patient experience, and organizational culture.

We're a fast-growing healthcare technology company partnering with leading hospitals across the country—and we're just getting started. If you're excited about building something meaningful, working alongside experienced founders, and helping shape the future of healthcare, we'd love to meet you.

About the Role

This is far more than a traditional Business Development Representative role. You'll be on the front lines of helping hospitals discover a platform that improves how they engage, recognize, support, and retain the nurses who care for patients every day.

As one of the earliest members of our commercial team, you'll play a direct role in building Gratia's growth engine. You'll work closely with company leadership, help refine our go-to-market strategy, influence messaging, and develop relationships with healthcare executives across the country.

If you're energized by entrepreneurship, enjoy opening doors with senior leaders, and want your work to have visible impact inside a growing company, this role offers exceptional exposure and career growth.

Why This Role Matters

Every meeting you schedule has the potential to introduce hospital leaders to new ways of improving nurse engagement, reducing turnover, strengthening clinical excellence, and creating better experiences for caregivers. Your work directly fuels Gratia's mission while helping hospitals better support the people who care for millions of patients.

Who You Are

You're someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and creating opportunities. You don't wait for leads to come to you—you enjoy researching organizations, identifying the right people, and starting meaningful conversations.

You're motivated by the idea of helping hospitals better support the nurses and caregivers who make healthcare possible, and you want your work to have a visible impact on a growing company.

You likely bring:

  • Approximately 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a related outbound sales role.
  • Experience working in healthcare, health technology, or selling products or services to hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare organizations.
  • Confidence in making outbound calls and initiating conversations with prospective customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write concise, thoughtful, and personalized business emails.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify relevant organizations, strategic priorities, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • An organized, persistent, and coachable approach to managing multiple prospects and follow-up activities.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small, high-performing team.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools, including contact management, activity tracking, pipeline updates, and reporting.
  • Curiosity and adaptability—you enjoy learning new messaging, testing different outreach approaches, and using performance data to continuously improve.
  • Professionalism and confidence communicating with senior healthcare executives.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare workforce strategy, employee engagement, clinical excellence, and patient experience.
