ApartmentAdvisor is an AI-powered property management platform built by the founding team behind TripAdvisor and CarGurus. We're automating the manual, time-consuming work that slows property managers down - leasing, maintenance, resident communications, and more. We're growing fast and looking for the person who becomes the first impression of ApartmentAdvisor for every operator we want to work with.

The Role

This isn't a spray-and-pray email job. We've built in-house AI that handles the heavy lifting on pre-call research - pulling together everything you need to know about a prospect before you ever pick up the phone. Your job is to take that intelligence and turn it into real human conversations.

You'll be the face of ApartmentAdvisor. The first voice someone hears. The reason they take the meeting. You'll work primarily through cold calls, texts & email - the channels that are actually working - and use the research our AI builds for you to show up credible, curious, and impossible to ignore.

What You'll Do

• Use AI-generated pre-call research to personalize every outreach and lead with something that actually gets attention
• Cold call and text your way to qualified meetings - phone and text are your primary weapons
• Get creative finding the right decision makers and champions at property management companies across the US
• Ask great questions, listen with concentration, and quickly identify if there's a fit worth pursuing
• Book qualified demos for AEs - you get paid when meetings show, not just when they're scheduled
• Build relationships and leave every prospect with a positive impression of ApartmentAdvisor regardless of outcome
• Collaborate with AEs and share what you're hearing in the field to sharpen messaging and talk tracks

What We're Looking For

• Someone who genuinely embraces phone conversations and doesn't flinch at rejection
• Energetic, charismatic, and relatable - you make people want to keep talking to you
• Quick on your feet - you can position value fast and pivot when a conversation goes sideways
• Creative with talk tracks and approaches - you don't read scripts, you have conversations
• Some sales experience - you know the basics and you're hungry to get better
• Driven by results - you want to see your name at the top of the leaderboard
• Unambitious need not apply

Compensation & Growth

• Competitive base salary: ~$60,000
• Uncapped variable comp tied to qualified meetings held - the more you book and show, the more you earn
• This is a performance-driven role with no ceiling on what you can make
• Clear path to team lead, BDR manager, or AE as we scale - we promote from within
