Sales Development Representative

TEN | Full-time | Hybrid or Remote, Denver, CO

Role Summary

TEN is building the premier peer network for technology leaders. Our members are founders, CEOs, and executives running many of Colorado's fastest-growing and most consequential companies.

We're looking to hire an SDR to own the top of our membership funnel. You'll partner with the founder on prospecting - including building target lists, researching executives, running personalized outreach, and booking qualified membership meetings that grow TEN's next stage.

You must be a hunter. Relentlessly persistent, sharp in your outreach, and energized by starting conversations with executives most SDRs would be intimidated to email. You don't wait for leads. You find them, research them, and earn the meeting through polite persistence.

About TEN

TEN is a curated peer network of Colorado's top tech executives. Our members run some of the most consequential companies in the state, and they join TEN because the experience is impactful, meaningful, enjoyable, and worth their scarcest resource: time. We're roughly 70 members today, on our way to 150 in Denver before opening new markets starting in 2027.

What you'll actually do

Own outbound, end to end. Build target lists of qualified C-suite executives across Colorado tech, research each one, and run personalized outreach across email and LinkedIn. Our prospects are CEOs who delete lazy emails in half a second - quality over spray-and-pray.

Book qualified membership meetings. Your core number is meetings held between qualified prospects and the founder. You'll qualify against our member criteria - role, company stage, industry fit - so every meeting on the calendar is worth having.

Drive follow-up through signature. The founder runs the membership meeting, you make sure it converts. After every call, you'll send the recap and next steps, answer outstanding questions, share the membership link, and keep a structured cadence on every open prospect until they sign or say no. No one falls through the cracks between "great conversation" and "paid member."

Sharpen the message. Test subject lines, angles, and sequences. Track what converts by role and industry, and feed what you learn back into the playbook so outreach gets better every month.

Build an organized database. Keep our internal operating system clean - every prospect, touch, and meeting logged with accurate stages. If the founder asks where a prospect stands, the answer is one click away.

Relationship Map. You’ll help the Founder figure out how to best get in front of certain prospects by using their network.

Market Expansion. As we look at expanding into a new market towards the end of 2026, you’ll identify Founding Members and work on a targeted approach with the Founder.

Your first 90 days

  • Day 30: You know our member criteria cold, your first target lists are built, your first sequences are live in market.
  • Day 60: You're booking a consistent flow of qualified meetings weekly.
  • Day 90: You're hitting your monthly meeting targets, you know what converts by role and vertical, and the playbook is documented.

Who thrives here

  • A track record (1-4 years) of outbound success - whether in SaaS sales, recruiting, fundraising, or another role where you started cold conversations with senior people and turned them into meetings.
  • You're a strong writer. Our prospects are Founders, CEOs & Execs. Your emails need to be sharp, personal, and worth 15 seconds of their attention.
  • You want to build at an early-stage company. It's not glamorous - you'll grind through lists, eat rejection daily, and follow up relentlessly - but in the long run, you'll have built the sales foundation for TEN as it scales.
  • You're resilient. Most people won't respond. You follow up anyway, professionally and creatively, without taking it personally.
  • You move fast & take action.
  • You understand the Tech world. You need to understand how startups and high growth tech companies work - funding rounds, exits, the difference between a Series A founder and a PE-backed CEO.

What this job is not

  • Not an AE role. The founder handles all sales/membership calls. Your job is to fill his calendar with the right people and then follow-up post call to ensure they join. Top performers will have a clear path to full-cycle sales.
  • Not an inbound role. There is no lead queue waiting for you. You create the pipeline.
  • Not community or events. Member experience is handled separately. Your focus is new member acquisition.

Success is Measured By

  • Qualified meetings booked and held
  • Meetings that convert to signed members from your outreach
  • Pipeline created and pipeline hygiene
  • Response and conversion rates improving month over month

Why join TEN

  • You’ll be joining as the first SDR at TEN with a lot of runway ahead of you
  • Shape how TEN grows as we scale into new markets.
  • Work directly with exceptional founders, CEOs, and executives shaping Colorado's technology ecosystem.
  • Build the outbound playbook that becomes the foundation for future expansion.
