Role DescriptionThe Sales Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based at the cellumation Inc. HQ in The Woodlands, TX. This role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in intralogistics and material flow automation across North America. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting discovery calls, delivering product demonstrations and presentations, and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact to contract signature. The role collaborates closely with marketing, technical, and implementation teams to shape customer solutions, prepare proposals and quotations, and ensure smooth handover to project execution. Demonstrated success developing new business within industrial automation or material handling environments, with the ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effective solutions, and consistently achieve or exceed sales objectives. The Sales Business Development Manager also analyzes market trends, participates in industry events, and builds long-term relationships with key customers, integrators, and partners to drive sustainable growth.
Please do not apply if you do not have: A proven sales background in warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling, conveyor systems, or a closely related industrial automation solutions experience (robotics, system integration automation as it relates to material handling, etc.). Your Tasks- New Business Development:Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in intralogistics and material flow automation across North America.
- Pipeline Management:Drive the entire sales cycle from initial contact (prospecting and lead generation) and discovery calls to contract signature, utilizing modern CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Customer Presentations:Deliver product demonstrations and presentations, translating complex, software-driven conveyor technologies into clear business value and fast ROI for customers.
- Solution Engineering & Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, technical, and implementation teams to shape custom automation solutions, prepare proposals, and ensure a smooth handover to project execution.
- Network Building:Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, system integrators, and partners to drive sustainable growth in North America.
- Market Intelligence:Analyze market trends and actively participate in industry trade shows, events, and partner networks.
- B2B Sales Track Record: Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with experience managing complex, end-to-end B2B sales cycles in North American markets (ideally selling capital equipment, automation solutions, or software-driven industrial systems).
- Technical & Analytical Mindset: Solid understanding of intralogistics, automation, material handling, conveyor systems, or related industrial technology, with the ability to translate complex solutions into clear business value.
- Sales Tech & Pipeline Management: Proficiency in CRM tools, pipeline management, and data-driven sales reporting (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), as well as confident use of digital collaboration and presentation tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in technical and manufacturing industries.

- Location & Mobility: Based near or willing to work in a hybrid model out of the cellumation Inc. headquarters in The Woodlands, TX, with the readiness to travel regularly to customer sites, trade shows, and company locations as needed.
