Position Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to develop, manage, and strengthen the company’s product portfolio through strategic supplier management, market analysis, new business development, and technical-commercial support. This role is responsible for driving profitable category growth, ensuring a competitive value proposition, and serving as the key liaison between Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Corporate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the assigned product portfolio, including sales performance, profitability, market positioning, and product life cycle.
- Define and execute growth strategies by product category, industrial segment, and sales channel.
- Identify product development, application, and new market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Analyze costs, pricing, margins, competition, and profitability by product line.
- Coordinate new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team, distributors, and key customers.
- Develop sales tools, presentations, technical data sheets, and product training materials.
- Participate in demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Monitor inventory levels, turnover, obsolescence, availability, and service performance.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain to ensure portfolio availability and competitiveness.
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and monitor industry trends.
- Participate in commercial negotiations with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Track KPIs and prepare executive reports for senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Specialist, Category Manager, Business Development Manager, Product Engineer, Strategic Sourcing Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Experience in B2B industrial companies, preferably involving valves, fittings, hoses, couplings, instrumentation, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, automation, or fluid handling solutions.
- Hands-on experience in supplier management, product development, pricing, margin analysis, and inventory planning.
- Knowledge of industrial markets such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Mining, Energy, Manufacturing, or Industrial Distribution.
- Advanced English (required) for meetings, negotiations, technical documentation, and communication with Corporate.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
