MicroPort is looking for a Business Development Manager – Cardiovascular to join our growing team in Mexico.
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding MicroPort's presence in the cardiovascular market across Mexico. This strategic role combines commercial leadership, clinical value-based selling, market development, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate business growth while strengthening relationships with key healthcare stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Conduct value-based clinical sales and marketing activities by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to support strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, healthcare institutions, industry associations, and government stakeholders.
- Lead product launches, professional education programs, academic collaborations, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage sales forecasting, inventory planning, and financial analysis to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth.
- Stay current with medical technology trends and drive the successful introduction and adoption of innovative cardiovascular therapies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices or capital equipment with direct commercial experience in the Mexican healthcare market.
- Strong background in business development, strategic planning, and value-based clinical sales.
- Proven experience launching medical technologies or therapies.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Advanced English with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- High integrity, a strong compliance mindset, and a passion for innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in go-to-market strategy and professional education initiatives.
- Knowledge of inventory management and sales forecasting.
- Established network with healthcare institutions and key opinion leaders.
- Experience working in multinational organizations.
