Peoitaly is hiring for a growing U.S.-based company operating in the marine technology sector, specialised in marine electrochemical systems, marine growth prevention systems and magnetic driven pumps for yachts and recreational vessels.
The company develops patented solutions designed to improve the reliability, efficiency and maintainability of seawater systems on board, and collaborates with more than 75 boat manufacturers globally.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager Europe to support the company’s commercial growth across Europe and the UAE.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager Europe will be responsible for developing sales activities across Europe and the UAE, with a focus on OEM customers, dealer and installer networks, shipyards, refit opportunities and professional marine stakeholders.
This is a senior, hands-on commercial role requiring autonomy, technical credibility and the ability to build trusted relationships with yacht manufacturers, dealers, installers, shipyards and other industry partners.
The role includes managing existing OEM relationships, developing new OEM opportunities, supporting product integration discussions with technical teams, building a structured dealer and representative network, and representing the company at key marine industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales activities across Europe and the UAE in line with commercial objectives
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing OEM customers
- Identify and develop new OEM opportunities with yacht and boat manufacturers
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders, technical decision-makers and C-level contacts
- Work with OEM engineering teams on product integration and technical discussions
- Develop relationships with installers, shipyards and refit specialists
- Identify, onboard and support new dealer representatives across the territory
- Provide commercial and technical training to dealers, representatives and installers
- Support dealer events, rendezvous, owner events and marketing activities
- Represent the company at key industry events, including Cannes Yachting Festival, METSTRADE and boot Düsseldorf
- Plan and carry out regular sales visits across the assigned territory
- Manage pipeline, follow-up activities and CRM records
- Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Collect market feedback and share relevant insights with the internal team
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B sales professional with a strong understanding of technical products and relationship-based sales.
Experience in the marine, yachting, OEM, shipyard, dealer, refit or industrial component sectors would be highly relevant.
The role is well suited to someone with a structured, customer-focused and result-oriented approach, able to work independently across international markets and communicate product value clearly to both commercial and technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, OEM sales, marine products, technical products or industrial components
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to sell technical product benefits and translate features into customer value
- Commercial discipline, structured follow-up and pipeline management skills
- High level of autonomy, ownership, integrity and professional judgement
- Experience with CRM systems; Pipedrive, Freshdesk or Salesforce would be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fluent English
- Italian language skills are considered an advantage
- Residence in Europe is required
- Valid driving licence
- Availability to travel regularly across Europe and the UAE
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the marine, yacht, boatbuilding, shipyard, refit or marine equipment sector
- Existing network among yacht manufacturers, dealers, installers, shipyards, captains, brokers or refit specialists
- Experience working with OEM customers and technical engineering teams
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
- Experience managing international territories and working with U.S.-based or global organisations
Travel & Territory
Territory: Europe and UAE Required residence: Europe Expected travel: approximately 60–75% across Europe and the UAE
Regular travel will be required to visit OEM customers, dealers, installers, shipyards, trade shows and industry events.
